Compassion, Indonesia, Africa and Watoto

In 2009 our founder travelled to Uganda, Africa to build 2 teaching houses for orphans and a classroom alongside Watoto.

Along the way she was able to visit the local baby orphanage for playtime, climb Mt Kenya and meet her local sponsor children and their family.

In 2010 she went to Indonesia with the Compassion team and friends to get to know their sponsor children and their families in a show of support.

We were able to visit their schools, homes and the low socio-economic areas.

They showed off their dance moves, their toys, their swing and some yummy homemade tempeh.
